Is Microsoft 365 secure?

Yes, Microsoft 365 as a service is very secure and Microsoft make public the independent security testing of the service. However, there are steps you must take to ensure security is upheld by users across your organisation. For example, you should set up multi-factor authentication and train your users in security best practice. Our Microsoft 365 consultants can assess your organisation’s current use of the cloud and advise on how to improve security.

Is my content in Microsoft 365 backed up?

Content on Microsoft 365 is backed up for a limited time, but it is worth considering if additional data protection is required. For some organisations, it is imperative that data is securely stored for many years and in some cases, that there is backup recovery for laptops and desktops to protect non-cloud based corporate information. These organisations should consider additional backup services, such as Incremental’s Microsoft 365 Cloud Backup Service, when moving to the cloud.
