Empowering collaboration and knowledge sharing: Inside the Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management User Group
In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, staying connected, sharing insights and learning from industry peers are crucial factors for success. To address the growing demand for a collaborative platform for Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management users, Incremental recently launched a user group dedicated to this purpose. We sat down with Jon Byles, ERP Head of Sales at Incremental, to discuss the concept behind the user group and the positive response it has received so far.
Could you provide some insights into the idea behind the Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management user group?
The idea behind the Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain user group was driven by our commitment to empowering our customers with a space where they could foster collaboration, exchange experiences and leverage collective knowledge. We noticed a growing demand from our customer base for a community-driven environment that could address their unique challenges and provide valuable networking opportunities. As a result, we decided to create a dedicated user group solely focused on Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
What specific factors contributed to this demand?
There were several factors that led to this demand. Firstly, with the ever-evolving nature of technology and business processes, customers felt the need for a space where they could stay updated on the latest features, enhancements and industry trends related to Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management. Additionally, customers wanted to connect with peers who faced similar challenges, enabling them to learn from each other’s experiences and find practical solutions. By addressing these demands, the user group aims to empower our customers to maximise the value they derive from their Dynamics 365 implementations.
Can you share with us some of the feedback received after the inaugural meeting of the user group?
The first meeting of the user group, which was held on Tuesday 16th May 2023, was a great success. We had a fantastic turnout, and everyone was really engaged and enthusiastic. Matt Child (Finance Director) and Jason Atkinson (Technical Director) at Byworth Boilers hosted our first meeting, and their feedback was incredibly positive. Matt was genuinely impressed by the wealth of expertise and knowledge shared during the session. Matt mentioned that he gained valuable insights from other attendees, which he could readily apply to his own organisation. It was evident that the user group provided him with a supportive environment to connect, exchange ideas and gain inspiration from peers in similar roles
“The first meeting exceeded all my expectations, boasting an impressive attendance and a lively ambience that encouraged active participation. The wealth of expertise and knowledge among the attendees was truly amazing. Engaging directly with my peers enabled me to gain invaluable insights and the practical ideas I acquired will undoubtedly bring substantial benefits to my organisation.”
