From action-packed speaker sessions, to our mid-event social mixer… we’re still on cloud 9 from a truly memorable weekend.

Held at Strathclyde University’s Technology and Innovation Centre in Glasgow on 10-11 June, Scottish Summit 2022 has been named one of the biggest Microsoft Cloud Community events of the summer.

Scottish Summit 2022 consisted of two action packed days of learning and development sessions, held by highly talented speakers looking to inspire the Microsoft Cloud community.

The live, in-person conference was a great chance to hear the latest and greatest in Microsoft technology trends, innovations and partner initiatives from professionals in the field with vast knowledge and experience.

The live, in-person event covered seven topic tracks which support new ideas, diversity and inclusion:

  1. Microsoft Azure
  2. Dynamics 365
  3. Power Platform
  4. Big Data
  5. Personal skills
  6. Microsoft education
  7. Speaker presentations

Attracting an incredible 900 session submissions to fill 200 speaking slots, Scottish Summit proved to, once again, be a highly valuable event for professionals in the technology space.

As a gold sponsor, Incremental were on-hand for the conference duration to chat, get to know and network with Scottish Summit attendees and enthusiasts.

“Scottish Summit has been a great opportunity for me to grow my network. I have really enjoyed getting back out and meeting people at in-person events,” said  Jenna Burke, Incremental Associate Talent Business Partner.

We were proud to have five Incrementalists flying the Incremental flag at this year’s Scottish Summit, covering off interesting and insightful sessions on all things Azure, Power Platform, pre-sales, Canvas apps and sales versus delivery.

A huge well done to David Small, Craig McGeough, Areti Iles, David Stewart and Claire Carmichael for their excellent sessions and for sending audience engagement through the roof.

Principal Pre-Sales Consultant and one half of the Incremental gold sponsored speaker slot, David Stewart, said: “Having benefited from the learnings and connections I’ve made at Scottish Summit over the years, it was a real privilege to step up to the front of the room and share my knowledge with the community.”

But the fun didn’t just stop at the conference. At the end of day 1, Incremental hosted a mid-event social mixer at our Glasgow office. A DJ, magician, drinks and snacks were the perfect recipe for a relaxed networking event and great party vibe after a busy day of sessions.

With over 100 attendees to the mid-event social mixer, Incremental Marketing Manager and event organiser – Cara Burns commented, “We had a great turn-out to our mid-event social mixer and the atmosphere was buzzing from start to finish. It was the perfect event to round off a day of speaker sessions and a great chance to get to know members of the Microsoft Community.”
