We are delighted to announce Incremental Group has been named Acquisitive Company of the Year at the prestigious Scottish Business Insider Deals & Dealmakers Awards in Glasgow.

The Scottish Business Insider Deals & Dealmakers Awards acknowledge and reward excellence in corporate finance transactions. The awards celebration dinner recognises the organisations, bankers, venture capitalists, lawyers and accountants who initiate, structure and negotiate deals for growing organisations.

The award entries are based on deals completed by the community in the fiscal year 2020 to 2021. The awards ceremony took place at Hilton DoubleTree Glasgow last night and was attended by many other scaling Scottish businesses.

Incremental Group was named the winner of its category during the ceremony. The Acquisitive Company of the Year category, sponsored by finance advisory business Dow Schofield Watts, looks to recognise a Scottish-headquartered company which delivered the most ambitious, innovative acquisition or acquisition strategy in 2020/21.

The fiscal year 2020/21 saw Incremental successfully navigate the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and deliver a remarkably successful year. In a year like no other, January saw the acquisition of Redspire, an independent Microsoft Dynamics partner with deep domain knowledge and expertise in the Financial Services sector. Incremental Group has continued on its acquisition path this financial year, welcoming Adatis, a leading data analytics business to the group in October 2021.

At the awards ceremony, Incremental was acknowledged by the judges for the impact the acquisition had on the business – “a strong story, with a common strategy and unified team”.

The Redspire acquisition, along with Adatis which followed this financial year, empowers us to deliver more for our customers and has taken our headcount to 350 Incrementalists. This award gives recognition to the hard-working team we have at Incremental Group that enabled us to navigate the last year successfully.”
