On Monday 30th August, Incremental begins a cautious, phased return to offices that will enable hybrid-working.
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic the wellbeing and safety of all Incrementalists has been Incremental’s top priority and this is at the forefront of our reopening plan.
Over the past 18 months, we have been extremely proud of the way Incrementalists have responded and adapted to working from home and the remote delivery of services to clients. We understand that there is no one-size fits all approach to a work-life balance. Incremental’s cautious, phased reopening of physical spaces has therefore been developed to support a safe return to office working, with an ambition to enable a hybrid approach to working at Incremental.
Our reopening of office spaces on 30th August applies to our Aberdeen, Glasgow and Manchester locations. The strategy will be reviewed on a weekly basis by a leadership working group and will adhere to government guidance.
Office working
As of 30th August, all Incrementalists can work from an office space on a part time basis. As offices will be open at a reduced capacity, spaces will be limited and must be booked.
Face to face meetings in groups of 6 or less will be allowed in well ventilated office spaces with windows open.
Business travel
As a digital technology organisation, the majority of our services can be delivered effectively to clients virtually, as the last year has clearly proven. However, for sessions that are best conducted in-person, phased domestic business travel and customer visits can now resume.
Home working
We continue to support Incrementalists who require to work from home due to their personal circumstances throughout the pandemic, for as long as required.
Safety measures
To ensure a safe working environment for all, Incremental has:
- Reduced the capacity of the offices, blocking off desks and having one-way systems where possible
- Put a limit on the capacity of in-person meetings (6 people)
- Increased cleaning services
- Provided supplies of hand gel, anti-bacterial wipes and face masks
- Installed signage to advise people of the guidance
- Appointed and trained Covid Marshals operating in each office
- Updated guidance for employees and visitors.
When using office spaces, we ask that Incrementalists, clients and visitors:
- Reserve your space before visiting the office
- Check in and out at reception on the visitor app
- Take a lateral flow test before coming in (and follow government guidance should it produce a positive result)
- Book Incremental meeting rooms and spaces if required. Only meeting rooms with windows can be used for face to face meetings.
- Adhere to the standard hygiene guidance (hand washing and wiping down of surfaces)
- Adhere to social distancing practices
- Wear a mask when not seated
- Immediately contact a Covid Marshal if you feel unwell while in the office.
The above applies to all Incrementalists when traveling for business and meeting customers, along with any additional measures on customer sites or/and when travelling.
We look forward to welcoming our people, network and clients back to our office spaces in a safe, controlled manner soon. If you have any questions about our reopening or our spaces, please get in touch.
