Microsoft’s MVP Award is an annual award that recognises exceptional technology community leaders worldwide who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with users and Microsoft.
We are proud to announce that, on the 1st of July 2020, not one but two of our Incrementalists were selected by Microsoft to be renewed as MVPs for 2020/21. Our congratulations go out to Mark Christie, Dynamics Principal Consultant and Craig Porteous, Senior Data Engineer, for their renewed MVP status.
With just over 3,000 awardees worldwide, Microsoft MVPs represent a highly select group of technology experts. MVPs are granted exclusive access and involvement with Microsoft’s product teams to learn and help shape the future of Microsoft technology.
MVPs all share a commitment to the Microsoft community and a willingness to help others, whether that is through meetups or via social media. These are the qualities that make MVPs exceptional community leaders. MVPs represent the diversity of today’s technical communities – they are present in over 90 countries, cover more than 40 languages and their expertise spreads across the full Microsoft stack of technologies.
MVPs’ efforts enhance people’s lives and contribute to our industry’s success in many ways. By sharing their knowledge and experiences, and providing objective feedback, they help people solve problems and discover new capabilities every day. MVPs are technology’s best and brightest, and we are so honoured to have two of them playing for our team!
Craig Porteous
Craig is an accomplished senior data engineer, who has been dedicated to sharing knowledge and building the data community in Scotland since 2015.
