Incremental Group’s Principal Dynamics Consultant, Mark Christie, is a long time resident of Perth, Scotland. From 1996 to 2001, not long after graduating, Mark gained a technical support position, which gave him his first opportunity to showcase his talent and skill in the IT field.

It was following this that Mark dived into the world of Microsoft, first as a Microsoft Technical Support Agent and then as a Microsoft CRM Technical Consultant followed by a position as a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Consultant.

Before his role with Incremental Group, Mark worked as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Senior Consultant with another Microsoft partner. Today, and in his current role, Mark uses nearly two decades of experience to excel in every aspect of his job, bringing professionalism and desired results to each of his customers.

Alongside his experience, his vast amount of knowledge comes from an extensive educational background that started in 2008. Since then, Mark has earned numerous Microsoft certifications which, to name just a few, include:

  • MCTS: Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 Installation & Configuration
  • Microsoft Dynamics Customisation and Configuration in CRM 2013
  • Field Service for Dynamics 365
  • Project Service Automation
  • Microsoft Certified Professional.

Along with these, Mark also successfully completed training with Click Dimensions and ITIL Certified. During his time with these organisations, he was able to study Click Dimensions Fundamentals and earn an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.

With an obvious dedication to IT, Mark’s work has been noticed by many. It has gained him awards such as:

  • Microsoft Business Applications MVP
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM Community Contributor
  • 2016 UK Microsoft Partner of the Year.

Discussing being selected as Microsoft’s April honoree, Mark said:

“It’s always an honour to be recognised by your peers and the technologists who support you along the way. Fresh off the Scottish Summit community event that myself and Iain Connolly led in Scotland in February, we can see that product evangelists and community content creators are turning the technology industry into an industry like no other. Everyone is here to support each other by sharing their ideas, successes and failures in blog, video and podcasts.”

Announcing Mark as their April honoree, Microsoft said “We are excited to recognise Mark as our April 2020 Community Spotlight honoree. He is an expert Dynamics consultant, MVP, active blogger, and a valuable contributor of suggested and verified answers in the community forums – great work!”
