Citrix has just announced its biggest set of changes ever. This includes names changes for almost every Citrix product and a number of solutions getting unified to provide a better service. These will be updated across 2018. The move is designed to simplify their proposition and make it easier to understand their solutions. The Citrix products will now be split into 3 areas; Citrix Workspace, Citrix Networking and Citrix Analytics.

Citrix Workspace

Although this will create some confusion in the short term, we think this presents a smart move for Citrix. They now offer so many products and services that having them grouped into clear areas with consistent names will help the market understand their offering. As you can see from the names they have chosen simplicity with most of the names following a “it does what it says on the tin” approach. The unification of many of their networking products will simplify their offering and combine to make a set of powerful tools.

Keep an eye out for these changes taking place as we expect this to be a gradual release with changes to websites, collateral, and supporting material introduced over time.
