Incremental Group today (10 January 2018) launched its first formal women returner programme in partnership with Women Returners as part of the ‘Returners to Financial Services Programme Scotland’ funded by the Scottish Government.

For us, work life balance is important and taking a career break shouldn’t be overshadowed by the difficulty of coming back to work afterwards.  As a people business, we need the best people on board.  Experienced, professional women looking to return to the workplace can have so much to offer, with just a little flexibility and support from us.

Stuart Kerr, CFO commented “Incremental Group is excited to launch its first formal return to work programme in partnership with Women Returners. Our commitment to ensuring diversity across our workforce helps us deliver the best possible solutions for our customers. Taking a creative approach to where and how we secure and develop talent is crucial to our successful growth.”

What is the woman returner programme?

The objective of the programme is to help great people get back into work, offering the potential of a permanent role. The programme is a national initiative with a number of different organisations supporting. Incremental is initially offering 12-week paid placements as ERP Financial Consultants to suitable woman returners with previous experience in finance. The placements start in April and will involve full training, support and flexible working.

Why would a women returner from a finance background join Incremental?

Many of our consultants come from a finance background. One of the key technologies we work with is Microsoft Dynamics which is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system with strong financial capability. We help organisations implement and make the most of this system. Read Linda’s blog on why she went from Financial controller to Senior Business solutions consultant with Incremental.
